Pamela Workman-Hilton is a top public relations and strategic marketing executive with over 15 years experience working in the entertainment and music industry. The founder of Workman Entertainment and Public Relations ( WE + PR), Pamela and her firm are committed to creating, connecting, and delivering 360 media solutions. Strategic and dynamic, Pamela's expansive relationships across industry and media allow her to meet each of her clients strategic buisness goals be it a major event, corporate brand, start up tech company, indie or major label artist, not for profit organization and more. WE + PR prides itself on delivering top-notch press results and unique brand solutions. Prior to starting her own firm, Pamela worked along with highly respected music/entertainment industry PR veteran, Jody Miller as General Manager of the firm and Vice President of Publicity. In this role, Pamela led her team on multiple ongoing national campaigns, innovative marketing solutions and strategic brand development for her clients. A strong buisness developer with expansive industry contacts, Pamela was on of the company's top signers of new buisness, helping to shape the structure and vision of the firm along side Ms. Miller.During her tenure at JLM PR, Pamela oversaw the national philanthropic campaigns for Russell Simmons' charity arts organization, Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation; major red carpet events such as The Songwriters Hall of Fame, The Gold Rush Awards, all VIBE Media Group Events and The SESAC Awards; indie label artist campaigns for acts such as Echo and The Bunnymen, Buzzcocks and Dawn Landes; major label artist campaigns for Al Green and Billy Idol; and online/ digital initiatives for such clients as the world's largest online ad network CPX Interactive for their "Vote For It" Campaign, Globalgrind.com, the Smartwater Campaign and more.Pamela began her entertainment career in New York City in 1998, while completing her Masters in Journalism at NYU, working in the Creative Programming and Development department at VH1 under the leadership of Lauren Zalaznick. There she focused on scouting for talent and helping to cultivate new project ideas into original programming for the channel (VH1 Fashion Awards, Random Play and more).Having worked across a variety of areas of entertainment prior to becoming a publicist, Pamela brings a unique set of skills and relationships to each of her clients, whatever the need. With more than ten years in the entertainment/music industry, Pamela Lipshitz specializes in developing unique and strategic PR campaigns at WE+PR with a focus on music, events, red carpets and non-profit organizations. Tenacious and result driven, Pamela has established an extensive network of contacts and relationships throughout the entertainment and music industries, lifestyles and news fields, at the national, regional, and local level. Pamela began her public relations career under the mentorship of PR veteran Jody Miller at the leading boutique PR firm, JLM PR, rising from assistant /junior publicist to National Director of Publicity in under three years. At JLM, Pamela led numerous national campaigns, including managing the day-to-day account for Russell Simmons including his non-profit organizations: The Hip-Hop Summit Action Network and Diamond Empowerment Fund, as well as Russells first book, "Do You!" Pamela also spearheaded campaigns for Al Green, Cassandra Wilson, Dianne Reeves, Absolut Vodka, Janis Ian, Cooking Vinyl Records and managed major red carpet events including Songwriters Hall of Fame, American Women in Radio & TVs Gracie Awards anld LIFEbeat.A New York native with a passion for all things music, Pam started her career in the music industry as an intern at The Orchard before moving to Boston to work at the venerable independent label, Rounder Records in the Sales and Marketing department. At Rounder, Pam worked alongside a dynamic team of industry experts on artist campaigns such as Alison Krauss, Kathleen Edwards, Madeleine Peyroux, Martha Wainwright, They Might Be Giants, Juliana Hatfield and many more.Prior to being reunited with her former colleague, Pamela Workman, at WE + PR, Pam started and ran Lip Service Media managing successful national media campaigns for Chucho Valdes; Regina Carter; Bill Frisell & Vinicius Cantuaria; The Miles Davis Experience: 1949-1959; TargetCancer & The Right Track; Gabby Young & Other Animals, among others.

HOLLIS

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT/ JUNIOR PUBLICIST

Hollis joined the WE+PR in the summer of 2011 after graduating from The University of Alabama with a Bachelors in Communication and Informational Sciences. The Birmingham native started as an intern with the company from June until the end of August, jumping into work for various clients, as well as the premiere Escape To New York Festival in South Hampton, NY that took place this summer. With her digital savvy, personable and effective PR approach and keen organizational skills, Hollis was hired as PR team assistant this October. Hollis has a skilled background in areas such as graphic and web design, along with journalism and PR writing. She is now working full time alongside "The Pams" in writing press releases, managing media and target lists, updating and managing the WE+PR database, working events, assisting in creative brainstorming, and being Pam Workman's executive assistant. Hollis is also the creator and managing officer of all WE+PR newsletters, tweets on Twitter, and this lovely company website :)
